Delta Force Black Hawk Down is a very intense first person shooter for Windows. The game takes place during a somewhat failed US intervention in Somalia. There is a movie about that conflict, too. Just like the movie, the game features intense firefights and a bunch of cinematic scenes that will thrill you. Well, at least they did for me. You are a marine who has to help reacquire a fallen Black Hawk, a Navy helicopter. There are around 8 missions that you have to go through to complete the game. If you watched the movie, then you know how it all ends, if you haven't, playing the game is pretty much like watching the movie. Although old, the game still has not expired. Its graphics are not the best, but the intensity it provides is really commendable. The game is fairly cheap (you can get it for 20 bucks). It makes a great gift for kids, if you don't mind exposing them to a lot of blood and killing. The game supports most Windows platforms, even Vista, if you tweak it a little bit. This is one in many of the Delta Force games, and is, in my opinion, the best.
